Our Trip (Part 1)

Nate and I were blessed to be able to go back to the South this last week. We decided to drive: which was interesting... and long. But worth it by how much we saved. The trip was an overall success. We didn't get to do everything and see everyone that we wanted to, but we had a great time none-the-less.

Our first night we stayed in Kansas City, MO. The next morning we went to the National WWI Museum there. We spent a couple hours there and still could have spent WAY more time on the premises. The museum was amazing!

We then went to Mount Juliet, Tennessee. This was the area I was trained in as well as my 4th area in the mission. I LOVE these people so much!
We had the pleasure of staying with Janet and her family. These boys were hillarious! Nate had a fun time playing with them.
We got to see my old Ward Mission Leader in MJ and his awesome family. It was nice to be able to go and visit them without having a 1-hour time limit. :)

We ate at the Pancake Pantry in Nashville. (A missionary favorite).

Nate had the chocolate chip pancakes - YUM!

And I had the Apricot Lemon Pancakes, also very delish!
